Strategy Kinfisher offers high quality nature in close proximity to cities along the river Rhine by healing its weakest spots.
Spotting the Kingfisher right in the city of Rotterdam in the delta of the river Rhine was the reason to use this exotic looking bird as a 'clean-river-approval‘. The Kingfisher has high demands in terms of clearness of water, in terms of biodiversity and he needs a relitively quiet habitat. If Rotterdam can accomodate this bird in its harbors, why don‘t aim for an entire river Rhine to be a habitat for the Kingfisher, all year through, every year? And thereby creating a healthy and attractive environment to citizens living in cities along the river Rhine.
