Yoff Urbain is an urban design and strategic planning project for the Yoff Stadium Precinct (YSP), an open area located in Yoff — one of Dakar’s northern districts.
The aim is to build on the existing popularity of sports and prayer activities around the stadium, transforming the site into a vibrant, multifunctional space that serves a diverse range of user groups.

As one of the few remaining open spaces in Yoff, the site is highly sensitive and valuable. To preserve as much open space as possible, the strategy focuses on multifunctionality and adaptability — ensuring that spatial elements can accommodate various uses and evolve over time.

This graduation project was awarded a 9 out of 10 with honours, recognizing its thoughtful approach to spatial resilience and inclusive urban development.
